Building NICMSME, one phase at a time

A phased platform designed to grow with the trilateral mission — from an initial digital presence to a full trade, investment, and knowledge-sharing hub for Nepal, India, and China.

Phase - 1

Foundation

Establishing NICMSME’s digital presence

Phase - 2

Full Platform

Expanding into a complete trade and investment ecosystem

Together, these phases turn NICMSME from a website into a working platform for trilateral trade, investment, and cooperation.

AI for Disaster Resilience

Early warning across shared borders

Extending the AI research and technology vision to protect the region's people and investments

The Himalayan region is shared by Nepal, India, and China — and so are its risks. Glacial collapse, flash floods, landslides, and earthquakes do not respect borders. The recent tragedy in Rasuwa is a painful reminder that our people and our investments are vulnerable.

We believe that technology built with care can save lives on both sides of the Himalayas.

Following the August 2026 Rasuwa disaster, China’s Meteorological Administration urgently provided Nepal with a customized cloud-based version of its AI-powered MAZU early warning system. MAZU integrates satellite, ground, and AI forecast data, generating over 200 types of weather service products. China’s National Climate Centre has also been providing Nepal with 60-day climate forecasts using its FengShun model. This is a real, practical example of how AI and trilateral cooperation can save lives — and protect the future of our shared Himalayan region.
